From June 11 to June 15, a six-member delegation led by Liao Bin, Party Secretary, visited Mahidol University and Chiang-Mai
University in Thailand to carry out international educational exchanges.
During its visit to Chiang Mai University, the delegation held discussions with the Vice President of Chiang Mai University, the Dean of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and heads of other departments on topics including a joint doctoral training program and scientific research exchanges. Both sides expressed their commitment to making every effort to launch the joint doctoral training program between the two universities in September of this year. Members of the delegation toured Chiang Mai University's teaching, research, and laboratory platform facilities as well as its treatment rooms, and held in-depth discussions with experts from the university on stem cell therapy and other topics. The delegation also held discussions with the Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medical Technology at Mahidol University and staff from its International Office on talent cultivation and scientific research
exchanges, reaching a friendly consensus.

This visit to Thailand further advanced the joint doctoral training program between our university and Thai universities, enhanced exchanges and cooperation with Thai universities in talent cultivation, education and teaching, and medical technology, and strengthened
educational exchanges between our university and universities in countries along the "Belt and Road."
