To promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine, broaden the pathways for cultivating TCM talent, and strengthen
international exchange and cooperation in TCM teaching and research, the College dispatched a delegation led by Wei Mei,
Vice President of the College of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine and the Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,
to visit the United States at the end of February at the invitation of the American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (ACAOM).
During their stay in the U.S., the delegation held talks with ACAOM, engaging in in-depth discussions on faculty development, student
exchange, and research cooperation between the two institutions. Delegation members gained a detailed understanding of ACAOM. They also conducted on-site inspections of the college's library, classrooms, laboratories, and clinical practice facilities.
During the exchanges, ACAOM expressed great interest in and willingness to cooperate with our college's integrated Chinese and Western medicine talent training model and the clinical application of distinctive diagnostic and therapeutic techniques combining Chinese and
Western medicine. After careful examination and detailed understanding, delegation leader Wei Mei signed a memorandum of cooperation with ACAOM on behalf of the College.

academic lectures each in English and Chinese to a continuing education training class for licensed acupuncturists in Texas, which receiv-ed unanimous praise from local participants.
During the inspection, the delegation also visited several local TCM practitioners and toured their clinics, held talks with them to learn
