A few days ago, at the invitation of the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, a five-member delegation led by Liu
Guangyi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of our university, visited the
United States.
The delegation held talks with heads of the School of Biomedical Informatics, the School of Nursing, and other departments of the
University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston on issues such as the professional curriculum design and training system for the
"3+2" undergraduate inter-university exchange program between the two universities, and the two sides reached a consensus. Liu Guangyi signed a cooperation agreement with university leaders of the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston on the "3+2" undergraduate inter-university exchange program between the two universities.
The delegation also visited and learned about the development of teaching and laboratory platforms at the University of Texas Health
Science Center at Houston, and held discussions and exchanges with faculty and students there, gaining a better understanding of the
American higher education system and talent cultivation model.
The signing of this cooperation agreement marks that our university has further established cooperative relations with higher-level foreign institutions, innovated the university's talent cultivation model, and promoted the reform and development of the university's medical
education.
