Qualification
1. Age requirements:
Bachelor degree program: 18-35 years old
Master degree program: 18-40 year old
Chinese language and TCM programs: 18-55 years old
2. Educational background:
Bachelor degree program: grade Twelve (10+2) or equivalent examination with a minimum 60% score in biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English
Master degree program: bachelor’s degree
Chinese language program: high school graduate with valid diploma
TCM program: medical practitioner or medical student
3. Applicant for Bachelor degree and Master degree programs should pass SWMU Entrance Exam and Interview.
4. Health in good condition.
Required Documents
1. SWMU Application Form for International Students (download in the website)
2. SWMU Student Family Information Form (download in the website)
3. A valid passport
4. Physical Examination Report, which must be original document with the seal of a government hospital
5. Financial support report
6. Letter of financial guarantee
7. 10 color photos, each one 2 inches with white background
*In addition to the above documents, different programs require different documents as the following:
Bachelor program:
Photocopies of Secondary High School Graduate Certificate and Official Academic Records
Master program:
(1). Letter of No Criminal Record issued by local public security bureau
(2). Photocopies of Bachelor’s Degree, Graduate Certificates and Official Academic Records and its notarization documents
(3). Recommendation letters (minimum 2) and study plan
(4). The certificate of HSK Test (Level 4) or above
Chinese language and TCM program:
(1). Letter of No Criminal Record issued by local public security bureau
(2). Photocopies of highest degree and academic records obtained
Application Procedure
1. Time of Application:
Bachelor degree program: April 1st to June 30th each year
Master degree program: April 1st to July 30th each year
Chinese language and TCM programs: all year round
* Note: special cases can be admitted any time.
2. The Confirmation Letter and Visa Application Form for International Students to China (form JW202) will be mailed to the qualified applicants, with which the students can apply for their “X” visas at the Chinese Embassy.

a. Email to: iceo@swme.edu.cn, with soft copy of required documents. Signed Application Form for International Students and SWMU Student Family Information Form must be filled honestly.
b. Submit the hard copy of documents to Office #711 Decheng Building, No.1 Section 1 Xianglin Rd, Longmatan District, Luzhou, Sichuan, P.R.China 646000.
