*Note: Other fees including insurance, visa, textbooks, miscellaneous fees, etc. shall be paid as actual price.
Prerequisites
1. Age requirements: 18-40 years old.
2. Educational background: Bachelor’s Degree or above in medical field with valid certificate.
3. Language requirements:
(1) Chinese language requirements- HSK 4 or above;
(2) English language requirements- skillful English language ability.
4. Applicants for Master’s Degree programs must pass SWMU Interview.
5. Promise to buy medical insurance during study in our university.
6. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good physical and mental health condition. For applicants who were Chinese citizens and became foreign citizens, the Notice of the Ministry of Education on Regulating Work Related to the Acceptance of Foreign Students by Domestic Colleges and Universities (JWH [2020] No. 12) will apply.
APPLICATION MATERIALS
1. SWMU Application Form for International Students (download in the website)
2. SWMU Student Family Information Form (download in the website)
3. SWMU Student Personal Information Form for Post Graduate Program (download in the website)
4. Copy of valid passport
5. Photocopies of Bachelor’s Degree or above in medical field, Graduate Certificates and Official Academic Records and the notarization documents(if previous documents are obtained outside the Chinese mainland)
6. Letter of No Criminal Record issued by local public security bureau, and the notarization documents by Local Embassy (if the documents are issued outside the Chinese mainland)
7. Recommendation letters (minimum 2) and study plan
8. The certificate of HSK 4 or above
9. Physical Examination Report, which must be original document with the seal of a government hospital
10. English language proof
11. Financial Statement: Evidence of financial support (bank deposit, etc.)
12. Electronic ID photos with following requirements:
（1）2-inch, white background, photo size not less than 320 * 240 pixels
（2）height & width ratio is 4:3
（3）photo size is 100-500KB in JPG
（4）name each photo with passport number
Application Procedure
1. Time of Application: April 1st to September 30, 2024
Note: according to the actual enrollment, the application time can be postponed appropriately.
2. The university will evaluate applicants’ materials，organize the interview for qualified applicants.
3. The Confirmation Letter and Visa Application Form for International Students to China (form JW202) will be mailed to the qualified applicants, with which the students can apply for their “X” visas at the Chinese Embassy.
Scholarship
1. Sichuan Government Scholarship
Amount: 20,000 RMB/year
3. University Scholarship
Amount: 25,000 RMB/year
Note: for University Scholarship, every year, student needs to pay annual tuition fees (25000RMB/year) first, then the university will dispense it(25000 RMB /year) to each student.
